The 2018 CrossFit Open is officially in the books. Congrats to all who were able to make it through all 5 weeks!!! We had a great turnout every Friday night and all of you being there and cheering each other on really made that one of the best Opens I have ever been a part of. You guys all pushed each other to achieve your goals. You guys really do make the gym seem like it is one big happy family and I love the vibe we have going on there right now. This photo says it all. We only had 2 people left to go in the last heat on Friday night (Sorry Chu for not getting you in the picture) and all of you stayed to help cheer on Harminder. He is one of our newer members who is still in our level 1 classes and was competing in his first Open. Most of you haven’t even met him yet, but you all stayed to support him. Thank you guys, that type of thing is really what makes our gym grow stronger. I wish I was smart enough to have grabbed a group pic from the pizza party afterwards. It was a great turnout. At one point, I counted 42 people sitting down and eating and I know a few more showed up later. Be on the look out for the next CFoF event that I will post about tomorrow night. It is gonna be a BBQ for our 8th anniversary.

Strict Press.


      Establish a 5RM.


WOD: 15 min AMRAP

10 plate ground to OH 25/15#

20 OH plate lunges

30 double unders

Level 2

Back Squat.

       6×1 @ 5-10#

       2×5 @ 70% of 6×1

WOD: 5 rounds for time

Sprint 200m

Lvl 1: hold plank for time it took to run 200m

Lvl 2: hold plank for ¾ time

Lvl 3: hold plank for ½ time
