Growing up I was always involved in sports. I would have practices 3+ times a week, team workouts, and games that I had to be at on the weekend. My life was like this all the way through college, being a college athlete was one of the best times of my life. But then, I graduated. I felt lost, not having to be somewhere at all times of the day, no one to tell me what workouts to do, no more competitions to feed my competitive lifestyle. I was a cheerleader ever since I could remember and then it was all over and I struggled at the thought of losing my passion. That was until I found Crossfit. Crossfit gave me a whole new outlook, I felt part of something again. When you are apart of the Crossfit community, it is almost like a team. You push each other to be better every single day you are in the gym, you can be as competitive as you choose, and if for some reason you don't show up to a class you have people blowing up your phone holding you accountable. Joining Crossfit was the best decision I could have made and it truly kept my fire alive.
