Tabata is a form of high intensity interval training. The standard is 8 intervals of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest of the given movement. Tomorrow you will get to do this with sit-ups. There is no specific number to reach in each 20 second interval. It simply means work for 20 seconds and rest for 10, for 8 rounds, at a pace that works for you.
