Unlike <insert the name of that other diet protocol that you have heard of>, CrossFit diet is less a strict protocol and more a philosophy, and it’s a pretty simple one to follow as well:

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.

One thing that stands out to me (me = Nitin) personally, is that carbs don’t get a lot of love across almost any diet protocol or philosophy, while protein, veggies and healthy fats do. My simple opinion (assertion?) then is that it is not as important to follow a strict protocol, as it is to simply eat “right”, provided the goal is to be, look and feel generally healthy and fit (coupled, of course, by the right program). You should form your own.
