Welcome to the Crossfit Open!! Every Friday, for the next 5 weeks, the open workout is the programmed workout. 6am and noon will be normal schedule.  Starting at 4:30, the gym will be open, and we will run heats into the evening, to give everyone a chance to get a score.  ‘Friday Night Lights’.  The energy is high and it’s a fun atmosphere. Come in and get your workout in!!  You can still sign up until Monday at 5 PM .  The open is for absolutely everyone.  There are RX and scaled options. See you at the gym!!

10 Rounds for Time

8 Ground-to-Overheads (95/65 lb)

**ages 16-54

10 Bar Facing Burpees

Time Cap: 15 minutes

Teen 14-15 & ages 55+ (65/45 lb)

 

Prior to starting the workout, the athlete will need to set up a barbell, with standard plates, to jump over during the burpees. This workout begins with the barbell on the floor and the athlete standing tall. After the call of “3, 2, 1… go,” the athlete may pick up the barbell and  perform 8 ground-to-overheads then 10 bar-facing burpees for 10 rounds.

The athlete’s score will be the total time it takes to complete the entire workout or the total number of repetitions completed before the 15-minute time cap.

There is no tiebreak for this workout.
