Whey protein is one of the fastest digesting protein sources, which is why it’s great to consume directly after a workout.  It has many benefits, such as:

*promotes muscle growth
*can potentially lower blood pressure
*it can help strengthen your immune system
*it’s very caloric and filling, so it helps to reduce hunger.

These are just a few, but I’ve included a clean eating recipe, that includes whey protein. If you have a favorite, you just need a scoop of vanilla for this recipe. If you need a recommendation, we have some by Driven Nutrition, at the gym. We have a few flavors in stock, but if we don’t have the one you want, you can order it HERE.

Berry Frozen Yogurt

4 cups of your favorite frozen strawberries, or mixed berries works great!
1 Cup plain Greek yogurt (your choice here if you want low fat, full fat, or if you don’t like plain, then use a low sugar vanilla flavor)
1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
2 Tbsp Honey

Place everything in a food processor.
Process until completely smooth. It will take a few minutes. Serve immediately, if you like it soft-set or place in the freezer until ready to eat. Let it sit at room temperature for 5-7 minutes before scooping if it’s straight from the freezer.
This recipe has approximately 40 grams of protein!
Eat in 1⁄2 cup servings. ENJOY!!
